Adrian made his way back to the moon, but not to help with the colonization. He was on the Moon before launching for the long journey to Mars. Adrian didn't go alone on, he had his new companion with him. This was Joey's first time in Space, but Adrian kept reassuring him that there was nothing to be scared of and if he was to get scared he was more than welcome to cuddle up to Adrian. (Adrian is a gentleman after all).
After a brief stop and launch from the moon the two companions were on their way to Mars. As Adrian's space craft entered Mar's atmosphere things started to get a little hairy....
....The entry of Mar's atmosphere was a little rough, but because of Adrians skill behind the wheel of the spacecraft things were under control in no time. Astronaut and teddy bear landed on Mars safe and sound. Adrian landed the ship next to his face on Mars. He checked the control panel on his spacecraft computer and the readings were saying that it was safe to breath the air. Adrian left the spacecraft in search of life, but Adrian was worried about poor Joey. Adrian wasn't too sure if the air was safe for Joey to breath, so Adrian made the decision to leave him on board their spacecraft.
After a few hours of walking around and calling out if there was any one out there. Adrian stumbled across a man hole. He opened it up and peered down the hole, there was aladder so he followed it down. Adrian stopped half way down the long ladder to get a breather, he shut his eyes and while they were closed he started having flashbacks. He opened his eyes and he realised he had been here before as everything seemed familiar, but when?
He reached the bottom of the ladder and he was faced with a dilemma, which direction does he go left or right. As Adrian had been here before he went right. It wasn't long before he approached a door. That was Adrian realised he was home.
When he walked through the door he saw natives to the planet. Adrian couldn't believe what he was seeing. The natives all looked like him. Then there leader walked foward and welcomed Adrian home. How did they know his name? The leader explained everything to him, then everything started to fall into place.
(The N.A.S.A scientists were right, Adrian was actually a higher intelligent lifeform).
The inhabitants on Mar's through a big party for Adrian. Time there went really quickly, but it was time for Adrian to leave. His new friends wanted him to stay, but even though this was where Adrian was really from he wanted to go back to where home was for him. He made a promise with the people that they would remain secret.
Adrian went back to his spacecraft where Joey was waiting to give him a big hug. Adrian had wished Joey could of met his new friends. Adrian and Joey hugged for awhile and then it was time to leave. They strapped themselves in and they left Mars. Adrian couldn't hold back the tears as he was so happy.
When he arrived back to N.A.S.A he was quizzed about what he saw, but he never let on, to what had really happened.
After this N.A.S.A felt Adrian had done so much work in the time he had been an astronaut and gave himself some time off.
That wasn't Adrian's space odyssey over as there was more to come.
